And now for something completely different

Earlier this year I traded in my old scoot for a new and improved (how can that be?) bike. I settled on the Kawasaki Nomad. This bike is a bit larger than the Intruder
(Ok, it's much larger at 1600cc's rather than 800cc's - but hey, size doesn't matter, right?), and much more comfortable. It also comes loaded with highway bars, driver and passenger floorboards, hard/locking saddlebags and a windshield. Cruising in style these days.

So far, it's effectively stock except for the risers, auxiliary lights and saddlebag top rails. Oh, and of course the GPS. But in the coming months, I'll be adding new grips, highway pegs for cruising, an aftermarket fuel management computer and new pipes for a little volume. At least now, people can see me coming!

Hi Dave, I'm jealous! The bike looks great. I'll have to check it out over Easter. I don't think I'll be getting one for some time now! It's funny how the kid thing can really mess up your plans! Be sure to have plenty of beer, I plan to drown my bike sorrows!

How does it feel to finally have someone comment on your blog?????
